1. Product Features
Caterpillar is the worlds major supplier of diesel engines, including 34 series,35 series,36 series and C series electricity-spraying diesel engines. Its engine can be used in all kinds of place, such as generator set, ship propeling, railway locomotive, automobile, oil, industrial and mechanical engineering.
According to the actual needs of the current oil fields ,manufactures production and Caterpillar industrial engine use definition, the diesel engine applies to oil drilling rig. It is used for workover rig and truck-mounted rig including the following type: C6.6,C7,C9,C11,C13,C15,C18,C27,C32,3508,3512,3516,3508B,3512B,3516B, etc.
Each type of diesel engine which has a different rate, the following is a description of the rate of diesel engine:
IND-A (Continuous)
Continuous heavy-duty service where the engine is operated at maximum power and speed up to 100% of the time without interruption or load cycling.
IND-B
For service where power and/or speed are cyclic (time at full load not to exceed 80%).
IND-C (Intermittent)
Intermittent service where maximum power and/or speed are cyclic(time at full load not to exceed 50%).
IND-D
For service where maximum power is required for periodic overloads(time at full load not to exceed 10% of the duty cycle).
IND-E
For service where maximum power is required for a short time for initial starting or sudden overload. For emergency service where standard power is unavailable (time at full load not to exceed 5% of the duty cycle).
